Starting a family is possibly the most pivotal moment in most people’s lives. And yet, parents are somehow expected to just know what to do. It is hardly surprising therefore, that the large majority of us struggle at times, as we watch our helpless babies grow and develop into little people, with their own very distinct personalities. Society, however, still seems to think that as parents, we should be able to navigate this steep learning curve with the minimum of support.

If we want, or need legal advice, we go straight to a lawyer. If our car breaks down, we take it to someone who can help sort the issues. This is exactly what we hope parents will feel about The Parent Collaborative. We would like to be your live, friendly parenting manual not just for those challenging times, but….. to hear about the funny, glorious, crazy moments too!

We believe our experience both as parents and teachers, has given us the skills to provide a wide range of strategies to help you strengthen your own family’s dynamic. Early intervention provides the best chance for parents to learn alongside their children.

We offer parents the chance to work through the problems they are facing whilst sharing with them a comprehensive package of tried and tested strategies for their family. We hope that once families are happy to accept help, as a healthy choice for the whole family, they will look to the Parent Collaborative for their annual MOT, something we all so readily acknowledge is vital for our vehicles.
